By booking or renting an electric vehicle, the customer (“Rider”, “User”) agrees to the terms stated below.

2. Nature of Service
Riseon Empo Services Pvt Ltd provides electric vehicles on rental basis
Vehicles are offered primarily for delivery riders working with platforms such as:
Swiggy
Zomato
Instamart
Other similar delivery services
Rental is provided on daily and weekly plans
3. Booking Amount & Rental Charges
Customers are required to pay a booking amount at the time of reservation
Rental charges may be collected:
Daily, or
Weekly, as selected during booking
All charges are clearly displayed before payment
Booking amount confirms vehicle availability but does not guarantee permanent allocation.4. Payment Method
All payments are processed via secure third-party payment gateways
Accepted payment modes include:
UPI
Debit/Credit Cards
Net Banking
Wallets
Riseon Empo Services Pvt Ltd does not store card or UPI PIN details.5. Rental Duration & Usage
Rental period starts from the date and time of vehicle handover
Vehicles must be used only for legal delivery purposes
Sub-renting, resale, or misuse of the vehicle is strictly prohibited
6. Rider Responsibilities
The rider agrees to:
Possess a valid driving license (where applicable)
Follow all traffic and transport laws
Take reasonable care of the vehicle and battery
Not modify or tamper with the vehicle in any manner
7. Vehicle Condition & Maintenance
Vehicles are provided in working condition at the time of handover
Normal wear and tear is acceptable
Any damage caused due to negligence, misuse, or accident will be charged to the rider
8. Battery & Charging
Battery usage must follow provided instructions
Damage due to improper charging or unauthorized handling may attract penalties
Battery swapping or charging availability depends on location and plan
9. Late Payment & Default
Failure to pay daily or weekly rental charges on time may result in:
Temporary suspension of vehicle usage
Recovery of dues
Vehicle repossession (if required)
10. Cancellation Policy
Booking cancellation is allowed before vehicle handover only
Once the vehicle is handed over, no cancellation is permitted
11. Refund Policy (Rental Services)
Booking amount is non-refundable once vehicle is allocated
Rental charges already paid are non-refundable for partially used periods
Refunds, if applicable, are processed only after verification
12. Suspension or Termination
Riseon Empo Services Pvt Ltd reserves the right to suspend or terminate rental services if:
False information is provided
Vehicle misuse is detected
Payments are not made on time
Terms of this policy are violated
13. Liability Disclaimer
Riseon Empo Services Pvt Ltd is not responsible for:
Rider earnings or delivery platform performance
Traffic penalties or legal violations by the rider
Loss of income due to downtime or third-party issues
14. Insurance & Risk
Basic insurance (if any) applies as per policy terms
Personal accident coverage is the rider’s responsibility unless stated otherwise
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This policy shall be governed by the laws of India.
All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.
